Choose your Christmas menu

All menus include couvert, a beef rissol and drinks, and have a vegetarian option.

Menu 1

Natal à Moda do Porto

€32.50per person

Starters: Couvert, beef rissol.
Main course: Capa na Baixa francesinha (100 g steak) with fries, or creamy codfish, or Capa-style duck rice, or vegetarian francesinha.
Dessert: Rabanadas or leite-creme + coffee.
Drinks: Sangria (white or red) 0.5 l per person, or beer 0.5 l per person, or Calheiros Cruz wine (white or red, half a bottle per person), water or soft drinks.

Menu 2

Mesa Farta de Natal

€35per person

Starters: Couvert, beef rissol.
Main course: Charcoal-grilled Cortador steak (for 2) with salad, rice and sliced potatoes, or creamy codfish, or Capa-style duck rice, or a vegetarian dish.
Dessert: Dessert of your choice + coffee.
Drinks: Sangria (white or red) 0.5 l per person, or a selection of beers 0.5 l per person, or EA Alentejo wine (white or red), or water and soft drinks.

Menu 3

Bacalhau da Consoada

€45per person

Starters: Couvert, beef rissol, broken eggs.
Main course: Charcoal-grilled codfish with punched potatoes and seasonal vegetables, or charcoal-grilled Cortador steak. A vegetarian option is also available.
Dessert: Dessert of your choice + coffee + digestif.
Drinks: Sangria (white or red) 0.5 l per person, or a selection of beers 0.5 l per person, or Quinta do Crasto wine (white or red, half a bottle per person), or water and soft drinks.

Menu 4

Francesinha de Natal

€27.50per person

Starters: Couvert, beef rissol.
Main course: Capa na Baixa francesinha (100 g rump heart) with fries, or vegetarian francesinha.
Drinks: Beer (Super Bock or Stout) 0.4 l per person, or water and soft drinks + coffee.

Christmas in downtown Porto

Capa na Baixa is at Praça de Dom João I, 175, next to the Rivoli theatre. It is the home of the family that opened Capa Negra II in 1972, with a dining room, an interior garden and space for groups. For larger groups, call us and we will help you plan the table.
